DESCRIPTION

Chelix Mo is a molybdenum supplement in liquid form specially developed for crops with an increased need for this element (watermelon, melon, carrot, cauliflower, onion, garlic). Chelix Mo plays an important role in the binding and utilisation of atmospheric nitrogen and the biosynthesis of nucleic acids and phytohormones (IAA and ABA).

In case of molybdenum deficiency, plants show similar symptoms to nitrogen deficiency (first symptoms on newer leaves, yellowish colour, ‘necrosis of leaf tips’)

Molybdenum plays a decisive role in plant metabolic reactions, especially in the utilisation of nitrogen. The enzyme nitrate reductase catalyses the conversion of nitrate into the nitrite form and the enzyme nitrogenase facilitates the conversion of atmospheric nitrogen into nitrate. These two enzymes are molybdenum-dependent. Therefore, a molybdenum deficiency can hinder these metabolic reactions and lead to nitrogen deficiency in plants.

Chelix Mo can be effectively applied by spraying the leaves or by soil irrigation. It is non-toxic when applied according to the instructions on the label. It is recommended to carry out foliar spraying at low air temperatures to optimise absorption. Chelan Mo can also be used in combination with other chemicals. However, if in doubt, a small scale test is recommended.

Fertigation: 2 – 2,5 L / ha

Tomato, potato, zucchini, cucumber, watermelon, melon:

Broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus:

Foliage

0.5 – 1 L / 1000 L of water.

COMPATIBILITY

Chelan Moly is compatible with most agrochemicals.

In cases where the compatibility of this product with other agrochemicals is in doubt, a small scale trial is advisable.

CAUTION

Application to plants to be used as animal feed is not permitted.
