Chelix Cu is an effective chelated copper liquid fertilizer with amino acids and peptides obtained from the enzymatic hydrolysis of proteins and organic acids.
Because the Cu ion is chelated with organic molecules, the Cu-amino acid complex is electrically neutral, allowing it to passively enter plant cells without consuming energy and spread to distant organs. The electrical neutralisation allows Chelix Cu to be absorbed through both the root system and the foliage.
Chelix Cu is a multitasking fertilizer as it is involved in the structure of the proteins of a number of enzymes involved in energy production in the mitochondria, protects plant cells from oxidative stress caused by free radicals, regulates the process of photosynthesis and performs key functions on the cell walls by stabilising them and making them more resistant to various harmful environmental factors. In addition, Chelix Cu promotes the utilisation of N and Fe, facilitates the viability of pollen and seeds and promotes the production of fruits with high quality characteristics.
Chelix Cu can be transported into the plants via both the apoplast and the symplast and can therefore be administered via both the root system and the foliage.
